A Webley Mark III Supertarget .177 Calibre Air Rifle.
This rifle was manufactured circa January 1971 and was sold at the Webley Museum Sale by Wallis and Wallis Auctioneers in June 2006 (Lot No 1150) it retains the lot number tag from the auction.
The rifle is in very good overall condition the blueing on the barrel and action is excellent.
The stock features a really nice grain with no splits or cracks there are the odd minor marks to the finish caused by usage over the years but nothing serious (See photo’s)
The rifle is complete with the ‘Anshutz’ rear diopter aperture sight and tunnel foresight the correct type for this model.
The cylinder is clearly stamped ‘SUPERTARGET’.
The rifle cocks and fire with no issues.
A good example of this Classic Webley Air Rifle dating from the 1970’s.
